Broadcast channels

Broadcast channels let you send one-way messages to subscribers. Subscribers receive your messages but cannot reply to the channel — they can message you directly if you allow it.

Requirements

Broadcast channels require a free Ndevar account. Free broadcast (1 channel, 50 subscribers) is included with every account.

Create a channel

1. Go to Broadcast in the main navigation
2. Tap Create channel
3. Choose a name and optional description
4. Your channel is created with a shortAddress subscribers can use to find it

Invite subscribers

Share your channel's shortAddress or QR code. Subscribers scan or enter it to subscribe.

You can see your subscriber count in the channel settings.

Send a broadcast

1. Open your channel
2. Compose your message
3. Tap Broadcast

The message is sent to all subscribers via:

• Bluetooth delivery to nearby subscribers
• Internet relay to all connected subscribers

Delivery analytics

Gather and above include delivery analytics — you can see how many subscribers received each message and via which route.

Managing your channel

In channel settings you can:

• Edit the channel name and description
• View subscriber count and analytics
• Pause or archive the channel
• Delete the channel

Deleting a channel is permanent and removes it for all subscribers.
